I crossed the line by being too much too fast with my girlfriend of just 3 weeks. It felt so natural to ask her to be my girlfriend and she immediately said yes. She broke up with me the following week because she said that she broke up with her boyfriend a while ago but needs time and doesn't want to use me or hurt me by being a rebound. She was sad and I was sad. I cannot get my mind off of her. How do I get her back?

When you guys say to be her friend, does that mean I should ask her to hang out as "friends" like seeing a movie or it that too much? By the way, thank you for your answers. It really helps.

Wait until you get out of junior high, then ask her again. She should have matured sufficiently by then.

Have patience. She was wise to take the time to get over her last relationship before getting involved in another one. Give her the time to deal with the baggage that comes from a break-up, just let her know that you will still be there for her if/when she's ready to move on. Don't crowd her, or overwhelm her with lots of talk about how you feel, she's trying to sort her own feelings out now and doesn't need yours on top of hers. If the two of you are meant to be, then she will come back to you when she's ready, don't push it. Knowing that you are there for her is your foot in the door, let her open it the rest of the way when she's ready to let you in all the way.

Stop trying to be superman and be a friend to her see her through this, trust me you are lucky she let you get off the rebound bus!! So if you want her back respect her feelings, give her space and just be a friend to her coz thats what she wants from you at this time. Play by her rules you might even get to know her alittle better.

Start by just being a friend and being there for her, once she see's your commitment, and knows that you really do care, if shes interested she will def. get back with you when shes ready. No more pushing, things happen as they are ment to, be patient and it should all fall into place...good luck.

well.. good that she broke up with you... because when some people broke up with their girl/boy friend will need someone to be beside... and leads to.."" USE ""
anyway... patience.... just wait till things go smooth.... When you talk to her from now on.. just dun mention anything about the relationship between you two... yet...
wait for some time... i wld suggest...
gd luck...
