Uh...NO! I was obese and did lose the weight. I hated it! In middle school I was 70lbs overweight and got picked on ALL the time. It went from name calling to kids getting so bad that they even thew their lunches at me and sometimes took my food away cuz they would say that since I was sooooo fat that I didnt need to eat. Believe me, it's no picnic. Adults are just as bad too. I used to work with a woman who was working, yes successfully, on losing weight, she was obese and got turned down for a job promotion because of her weight. She was crushed! Believe me, no one enjoys being overweight and would give anything to be thin. Some have underlying health conditions that makes it really hard to lose the weight(certain meds, thyroid problems). So don't be too quick to judge when you see the next overweight person walking down the street. They have feelings and are human just like those that aren't overweight.

It really depends on the person. I know obese people who have something medically wrong with them and can't lose the weight and they've accepted it for what it is. I also know people who love the extra pounds cuz let's face it, this society is too obssessed with wanting to be thin or that thin is the most acceptable. Then there are people who are crazed in wanting to be thin, they'll binge and purge, they'll starve and what they don't know is that's only making it worse and they'll end up even more depressed about their current situation.
I'm assuming you're using this forum as a way to p*ss and moan about someone who is fat in which case, I will tell you, it's people like you that make it hard for others to be able to embrace who they are and be happy.

I wouldn't think so. They probably just like eating all the food that it takes to make them obese. Although some are obese for medical reasons beyond their control.
