Sat up and cried. Then spoke out my feelings and frustrations with friends. Accepted my sort. It's simply the past. So forget it.

Moped around for a while. I would start watching a soap on TV and there will be a romantic scene and I would cry. Then I tried to be poetic about it and tried to write down poems about being ditched. I could never find suitable rhyming words. Then I wrote down my feelings in prose. I would start it as a story and then leave it in between. I would go for shopping but everything felt shallow and useless. Slowly, with the help of my friends, I started reading, obsessive reading. Especially Harry Potter and all the tragic fan stories. I almost got addicted to it. Anyways, I finally found peace within myself and started devoting more time to work and trying out new things. That clicked for me and my life picked up again.

First, cry. Then analyze why i am heartbroken. After that, sort out my thoughts and forget about happenings that make me heartbroken by doing things that i like - my hobby.

I went numb and refused to fully believe/accept it until the following day.
Then I went into months of missing her and thinking about her. Coupled with picking appart every moment we were together trying to find the reason for the break up that she refused to give me. (Unhealthy I know and something that I have only recently fully gotten over.)
Of course I cried. But it went deeper than that I guess.
Why do you ask? I hope and pray you've not been heart-broken yourself!
