depends entirely on what type of file it is ... I'm assuming it's an audio or video file???? ... maybe it will open in something like Winamp or iTunes????

What is the torrent file? give whole filename and extension?

If the torrent file has an extension of like Filename.avi.bt then that means the torrent client hasnt finished downloading it yet and need to be completed first before you can actually play the file.

Now if you meant that the file has finished downloading but youre media player cant play it then its possible that you need to download additional codecs to let you play those files on your PC

If the file has completed ( check your download manager) First us caution. Don't want to open a virus. As long as you are familiar with the file then you can try to open it with your widnows media. IF that still does not work you may try VLC

It has some additional play features that may or maynot be enabled in window media. It's free too. Good luck, and careful!
