If you normally shave an area you are going to have laser treated for hair removal should you shave it or let it grow before treatment or does it matter?

For laser hair removal, you want to have SOME hair on the area so that the technician is able to see where your hair grows and treat those places and not worry about places where you don't have hair growing.

If your hair is over an inch long, it will probably need to be cut down a little, but not completely shaved. However, before a laser hair removal service, the technician will evaluate if the hair is too long or not and cut it down a bit for you with clippers.

Bottom line is: DON'T shave before you go. If the hair is too long, they will take care of it for you.

It matters, you should shave it, the day of your laser appointment.
