That's a very good point. Never thought of it. I suppose they will always want to separate the sexes, although, feminists have invaded every other male bastion, why not that one? Surely, it would be the ultimate achievement. But yes, why should the 'toilet for the disabled' not be used by others? particularly as these toilets are grossly underused, in the same way that dedicated car parking spaces are under utilised.

I am now going to count the number of respondents that have said, " how can anyone use a disabled toilet"?

PS. I have just realised that feminists will go for the unisex toilet idea, because they will hide in a cubical. Men will not, presumably.

A local "Trendy Pub" near me has a system. Both Male and Female WC's are Disabled friendly. However as Woman have weaker bladders than Men, the Male WC's are actually Unisex. Its a bit strange standing having a pee whilst a woman washes her hands directly behind you! It has the added advantage, that attention to detail is shown in both. Neither smell and both are well maintained. Traditionally Male WC's are just given a cursory glance with disinfectant and not much else!
You don't get any waiting outside the ladies in that one, they are straight into the Gent's!

Any place only needs sufficient Accessible toilets. There is no need for the "Third Sex". And here I mean Disabled people who are people as well as some of the unthinking respondents to many questions in Yahoo answers.
