The concept of the Trinity, I believe, was summed up best by an early American minister, and he essentially said, "The three forms are all co-eternal, meaning one was not created by the other, and none will ever become non-existent. The Trinity is also co-existent - they are not in conflict with each other and fighting for supremacy, but they are all in perfect harmony. Finally, the Trinity is co-essential. God the Father needs the son to be an atonement for mankind, God the Son needs the Holy Spirit to guide his chosen."

Jesus is who he said he is. At John 10:36, he called himself the "Son of God." If he were God, he would have said he was, but he didn't. He also said at John 14:28: "The Father is greater than I am." However, if I had some preconceived idea that Jesus is equal to God, I would completely ignore what Jesus said and cling to my own beliefs that he is something else.

In Binary code, 1+1+1 is 1. Maybe Jesus, the holy spirit and God are all binary beings. Perhaps in Binary code can we find the greatest secrets of the cosmos revealed to us, and reveal the thinking of God. Then again, maybe someone way back when was bad at math.
I will ring your doorbell and run away!!!

Well the holy trinity is what I'm assuming ur referring to. How can three be one? Like anyhting else. U.S gov't has three branches that make one government. It's for balance, I'm asuming that's how God works too, for balance. The holy spirit hold so much of God's Power, Jesus Christ holds so much of Gods power and God holds his own power. To us on this earth it's not possible. But i think it's easier to believe if you think about it in U.S's gov't way

No he isn't and its offensive to think he is. He loves God. They have a relationship. He spoke to God and refered to Him as his father throughout the bible.
They are one in the sense that Jesus shares Gods will and they love each other. You know like when you have a best freind and you are happy and having fun you even forget that he/she is separate from you, you are just so 'together'. Thats what Jesus and God are like.

THE text, at John 10:30, is often cited to support the Trinity, even though no third person is mentioned there. But Jesus himself showed what he meant by his being "one" with the Father. At John 17:21, 22, he prayed to God that his disciples "may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, . . . that they may be one just as we are one." Was Jesus praying that all his disciples would become a single entity? No, obviously Jesus was praying that they would be united in thought and purpose, as he and God were.-See also 1Corinthians 1:10 .

In certain bibles, yes, Jesus is God. According to the Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, and Muslims, Jesus is not God.

Gen 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Man and wife are also 1.
