How old and what breed is the dog? They should be walked, if you can do it, in the morning and early afternoon. Dogs need exercise daily. Start out with 15 or 20 min walks and work up from there. Your dog, unless real old, will learn that walking if fun and if he needs the exercise it will be good for him. He probably gets tired cause he isn't used to a lot of exercise.
Good luck

you might need to review his diet too then. he should not be getting tired too early. also just so you know never feed a dog chocolate you could easily send it into a seizure or worst still kill it, this has been known to happen. i would say don't over feed him he only needs about a tin and a half per day and also make sure u feed him the right food don't give him human food. they're digestive system is different to ours. keep up the exercise he should get used to it if hes on a proper diet too. if the problem stays i suggest u take him to a vet. people on here could babble all day telling u they know the answer but only a physical examination from a vet is a reliable answer... good luck

A little each day slowly increasing the time you walk. He will adjust to it if it is gradual (sorta like we humans). Can't do it all in one day. Also depends on what kind of dog it is. Some dogs don't need as much exercise. Read up on your dog or ask your vet what the dogs limits are. You don't want to get a tiny Yorkie racing along like a German Shepherd. m

You don't say how old your dog is, but if you feed him healthy, get his weight down a bit and take him a couple of short walks during the day slowly increasing the pace and distance he wont be so tired. If your dog is getting on then keep the walks shorter and gentler.

If he tires easily, only do short walks. Maybe just up and down in front of your house so when he does get tired, you can take him in. Short walks and several throughout the day will be fine.

Exercise will help him improve - if he's getting tired too soon, then he needs more exercise.... Just need to get him used to it....
