I've had my "Nokia" for five years now, three batteries and no problems, it was free with service, $45.00 a month free calls all over.

I lam with US Cellular now but my fone sucks KYOCERA soho
The LG's 4400 I have owned are still working as an alarm clock now lol from my service with Verizon
Right now I can recommend an LG the best got to go with what works as KYOCERA Soho known for 2 years life on most of there products the KYOCERA Slyder sucked too my first phone lasted 6 months funny thing is an image of a grave popped up screen froze and said R.I.P. means re-instate phone lolololol

The best value is to find a phone service (Verizon, etc) that gives a huge discount for signing up for the service.

I think Costco has the best deals
