muslims, how many angels talked to mary?

There are (at least) two passages in the Qur'an relating the announciation of Jesus' birth to Mary.


Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah has chosen thee ...
Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah gives thee glad tidings ...
-- Sura 3:42 & 45


Then we sent to her Our angel, and he appeared before he as a man in all respects. She said: "I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (Come not near) If thou dost fear Allah."
-- Sura 19:17-18

How many angels came to Mary? The Arabic uses the plural form, which means there were no less than three angels, but can also mean that there were actually four, or a thousand, or a million etc.!

Why does Mary only seek refuge from one of the angels as she only addresses one in Sura 19:18? Were the others not like men and threatening to her?

And, mention, when the angels, namely, Gabriel, said, 'O Mary, God has preferred you, He has elected you, and made you pure, of the touch of men; He has preferred you above all women of the worlds, that is, the inhabitants of your time.

Mention, when the angels, namely, Gabriel, said, 'O Mary, God gives you good tidings of a Word from Him, that is, a boy, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, He addresses her attributing him to her in order to point out that she will give birth to him without a father, for, the custom is to attribute the child to its father, honoured shall he be in this world, through prophethood, and the Hereafter, through [his] intercession and the high stations [al-darajāt al-'ulā, cf. Q. 20:75], and of those brought close, to God.

Thus she veiled herself from them, she draped herself in a veil to conceal herself while she washed her hair [from lice], or [washed] her clothes, or cleansed herself from her menses; whereupon We sent to her Our Spirit, Gabriel, and he assumed before her, after she donned her clothes, the likeness of a well-proportioned human, perfect in physical form.

19:18
She said, 'Lo! I seek refuge in the Compassionate One from you! If you fear God', and leave me alone on account of my invocation of refuge in God

i think this explains it. the angels visited her in the form of angels and that's why she freaked out. then God sent Gabriel in a form of human so she doesnt freak out again. in sura 3:42-43 Gabriel is referred to in the plural sense for Gabriel is the chief of all angels, he's way bigger and has 600 wings while the regular angels have 2, 3 or 4.

there was only one angle who came to mary . the holy coran says:'we sent for her our spirit who transforms a human being "so she was afraid of him coming near her but he assures her that he is a massenger of god to give her a blessed child ,she became more scared and asked"how on earth could i be amother if i m not a married woman or a hore"he answered:'that s what god wants and the son will be a miracle to people and he will be mercifull with you and that s an order " so he breathed in her breast and she became pregnant.isa is the name of mary s son and he is partly like adam who came to life without a father or a mother.
