Intruder in my basement?

I recently found a crackhead in my basement a couple nights ago. The S.O.B was hanging in my basement smoking crack so I chase this fiend out of my basement with a bat. So the next time this intruder comes to my basement again should I chase him again with the bat or call the police?

get a shotgun a wait for him to return the blast him in the back of the head, he's a crack and no one will miss him plus you get a intresting story to tell down the pub

i would be surprised if he came back-crackheads don't like attention. but make sure your basement is secure. if he does return call the police because if he is high on crack you could hit him with a brick and he will just grin at you so unless the situation is serious do not attempt to tackle him yourself. if he sees it will not be easy to gain entry to your basement in future the chances are he will go elsewhere.

The thing to do is to securely lock up you basement, so you can avoid another such confrontation.Crackheads are not rational, and will not hesitate to kill you.

ummm why is you're basement accessible to vagrant's? invest in a $5.99 lock from you're local wal-mart and secure you're premises.....if that does'nt work, call local enforcement.
