First of all cowboy...the flu is influenza which is an upper respiratory virus. Gastroenteritis is what would cause vomiting and that is a bacteria or virus in the stomach and intestines. I would say to you sweetie to drink lots of fluids, get lots of rest, and if you don't feel better in another day go to the doctor. If after two days of constant vomiting you haven't improved, then you are truly sick beyond what you can care for yourself, and it would be wise to invest in a doc before your family has to invest in a casket. Sorry to be so brually honest...I don't have health insurance either, but if I'm sick, I make sure to budget my income to pay for medical care. If you have to go to the social worker and work out a payment plan. Hospitals are cool like that...they could possibly let your costs go and write it off at tax time. There are always options availiable...don't give up and take care of yourself

drink lots of clear fluids like water, 7up, sprite, yes even gatorade. your body needs the elecrtolytes you are losing when you vomit, so gatorade would be best, or pedialyte would be best. try using the BRAT diet, but you really should go see a doctor. you could have food poisoning, my entire house suffered from it this past summer, and it was pretty much the same, coming from both ends.
The BRAT diet would be banans, rice, apples, and toast. try that tonight, if it only makes the vomiting worse, you probably are food poisoned and should not continue to eat anything more. but DO no matter what get those liquids in your body!! call the hospital emergency and explain your problems and maybe they can help, but they'll ask you to go in anyhow. nevermind the cost of the visit, your health is first and foremost, as long as you pay the bill any amount each month, they can't take you to court over it. you could pay as little as $5 and they can't do anything but send it to the credit bureau and put your report on slow pay!
get well soon!!

Very bad. You are very sick and probably have something wrong with you that is much deeper than anything curable with gatorade. If you have been poisoned, call poison control. As a last resort, pawn the computer and head to the doctor!
If its an internet cafe, type your symptoms into WebMD, or post them on yahoo and hope you get a real doctor instead of a sarcastic crack addict.
The gatorade won't help you much, but it won't hurt you. Go ahead.

It sounds like you have the flu sweetheart: You don't want to dehydrate, drink what you can, try plain water and see if it stays down. If you continue to vomit then go see your doctor.
If the water stays down after awhile then you might try something like 7Up or Ginger ale, but not too much to start with, try some dry toast also. if it stays down, don't rush into anything.
Make a doctor appointment. If it gets any worse and you can't get in to see the doctor right away then go to the nearest ER and tell them what's going on.

You should see a gastric specialist immediately! Either that or an endocrinologist. In the meantime, drink lots of water and avoid acid foods or drinks. I think Gatorade would make it a lot worse.

Hi. In my experience simular to yours, I would drink Mint/Peppermint Tea. They say that peppermint candies also help calm the stomache. Tea or Peppermint candy, I highly recommend water to incorporate. Also try a heat pad or take a warm bath...unless you have a fever. Throwing up will make you dehydrated. I hope that helps!

Get off your computer and get to emergency. They will help those that cannot afford it. This could be quite serious, so I am serious, get to an emergency room.
