Being from South Carolina, we eat them quite often. I love my greens flavored with a leftover ham bone and ham pieces. My favorite is Spinach then Mustards, Turnips & last is Collards.
Collard greens are probably the traditional local favorite just not mine. I knew they where good for the colon, very good source of fiber. I sometimes eat them just for a natural laxative, no suprises just effective.

I knew greens were good for people, but exactly the colon.
I like them and would prefer to eat them with a main meal.
