Hello
This is very simple.

Please follow the steps mentioned below :-

1) for this patter you need to do is type
2
4
6
2) Now you need to click on the box where you wrote "2"
3) Press Shift, keep on holding it and then click "6"
4) Now that the 3 box's will be selected. Now all you have to do is that you will see that at the bottom of your selection to the right side there would be a dot. it would appear somethin like ..

2
4
6 .

now drag this dot downwards and you are done

hope this solves your problem, or you can tell me, i can do it for you.

thanks

First type 2. Then in the next cell (horizontally or vertically), type 4. Now select both the cells. You could see a small black box on the lower right corner of the selection box. With the cursor, click and drag the small box as long as you need (horizontally or vertically) and then release it.

1.) In cell A1, enter 2
2.) In cell A2 enter =A1*2
3.) When you press enter, the A2 cell should display 4.
4.) Now copy this cell (which will copy the formula)
5.) And highlight a range of cells underneath A2, for example A3 through to A20
6.) And paste your formula.
7.) The spreadsheet should then update so that each cell contains a value of double the cell above it.
