I suspect we can't afford the war we are already fighting. I don't understand what you think he has to protect his people from. Most of them on the northern border are waiting to wade across the river, and any additional military presence there would sure cut down on the illegal immigration problem. As poor as Mexico is, I think the reason they don't crack down more on that is because it helps solve a problem for them. They have fewer poor citizens to support, and those people often cross the border, get jobs and send money back home to family. It's kind of a win-win for the government.

Why would Mexico send their troops to the border? The new guy wants the border to be completly open so Mexicans can go back and forth as much as they want. Sending troops to the border would have a negative effect. Plus, what would they need their army to protect the people from? There is no reason for Mexico to do anything like that.

Does Mexico even have an army? How about Canada for that mater? lol
In all seriousness, we will not have to worry about Mexico coming at the US. If Mexico gets war happy, they would go to the south border, Guatemala. 40% of OUR border problems is because Mexico does not secure its border (a lot of illegal immegrants come from central America, not just Mexico.) Central America houses a lot of drug cartells and they would invade Mexico if the millitary decides to divert their attention.
We have a treaty with Canada and Mexico to NOT millitarize the borders with each other. If Mexico starts to set up forts or attacts us, you can be sure that NATO and the rest of our allies will give extreme political pressure to Mexico and give millitary aid.
The leader does not matter 100%. Look at Russian "President" Valdimir. I put president in quotes for a reason. His term is LONG over due and he refuses to step down. Most political anaylists would say that Russia is technically a dictatorship, but is debatable because the Russian people and the international community are not challeging him to step down.
The US controlls the military power and influence in North America. Nothing to worry about.

Squibbit Hroof? Mexico isn't that stupid. Their skin is brown. The US bombs non-servile brown people to protect their interests without a second thought. This is basic world history.
Also, we have the largest army in the world (even discounting mexicans, who would probably defect) and would kick Mexico's ***. There would be a civil war between Mexican Americans, and we would either shoot them all or put them in camps. Our economy goes downward because all the Mexicans are dead or running back south and there is no one to do the dirty jobs. Attacking the US with military force leads to the worst possible outcome.
They might try subtle economic manipulation, like not letting enough of their citizenry across the border to keep the cost of labor down. However, if they attack us all that latent hatred and resentment will come out and whites will exterminate them.

i individually do no longer think of shall we've sufficient money it why? with the aid of fact if a conflict with Iraq that incredibly had no military is costing the rustic trillions of greenbacks of debt a conflict with Mexico that has a stabilized, and incredibly extremely super land capability might nicely be slightly greater costly that could might desire to be added to the already trillions of greenbacks of debt Mr. Bush has been inquiring for. there is likewise the actuality that Mexico could be backed by different international places with the aid of fact it would be seen by the international community with the aid of fact the sufferer plus you have all those left wing human beings turning out to be international that dislike the U. S., and you besides mght have the 20 million immigrants that could section with Mexico and reason family members disturbance. the U. S. might have problems in a foreign country(Iraq) next to them (Mexico) and internally ( immigration) so it does not be decrease priced on the 2nd.

The war would be over in a month then we could take their natural resources to pay for the free services and the strain they have put on our middle class. And the reason we only bomb dark people is they are the pain in the @sses of the world

I think that "War" would last about 2 days.
We would send the Texas National Guard, and they would pull the Iraqi Tank thing where the reporter is live on TV reporting that the US has NOT reach Baghdad and right behind him an American tank is rolling by......

Mexico would be very foolish to start a war with us .
Economically and militarily foolish .
Besides once their troops were on this side of the border , they'd desert , get civilian clothing and pick vegetables .
It pays better .

We have no dispute with Mexico and it's government. The problem is with Mexican, Central American, S.American, and other refugees using Mexico's borders to cross illegally into the US. We don't wish to inherit their ptoblems, therefore we are building a fence to keep them from illegally entering the US. In addition to refugees, it has been determined by Home Security that Islamists are also filtering across amongst these refugees. The coyote's who assist these people don't give a rat's behind who they are as long as their money is green.
The Mexican government does very little to help the US to keep these very bad people from crossing into our country from their's, therefore we nust take the initiative to secure our border with Mexico, like it or not.
Mexico can get angry about this if they wish. They may even feel insulted by us buiding this fence. The fact remains, we must protect our own interests, and if there was a better, more effective way to do so, we would do it.
You suggest that Mexico could send it's army north to protect it's people! From what? Their people are in no danger, unless they foolishly try entering the US. We are not killing their people, or trying to harm them in any way. Granted, some get injured who resist being arrested. Some are injured because of the real dangers that are inherent in stealing into the US, usually in the dark of night, with no lights to guide them through rough terrain. Many come without the necessary food and water to sustain them on their journey, only to succumb to starvation and thirst from exposure in our deserts.
The Mexican government turns it's back on this problem because these refugees are like soldier ants to their economy. These people who do succeed in getting through, establish themselves in menial, cash paying jobs, live in squalor, and send money home to help their families sustain their living standards. This is a huge lift to the Mexican economy, and it is a drain on the American economy. Not only is the hard currency issue a drain on the US economy, so are these refugees who use our infrastructure and social programs without supporting them. This means that the American tax payer is now subsidizing every refugee who gets into our country illegally. He is not paying his fair share, our taxes are increasing every year because of it, and these damned democrats are offering their support to them, without regard for their own constituents who are forced to pay the bill.
I have no fear of Mexico pointing its guns at the US, because they really have no justification for it, and individual states alone have enough citizens who are fed up enough with the Mexicans infiltrators and could establish some pretty sizeable vigilante groups to ward off any threat from the other side. With state and federal support, this could develop into a real cottage industry.
The American people need to let this new breed of democrats know their feelings on this matter. The fiscal irresponsibility of these bleeding heart Pelosi types has got to be taken to task by it's own party members. It does very little for the conservatives to make noise because it then becomes a political issue. It's own party members make it a fiscal and social issue.
