The question is: Do you WANT to? This is your decision, not his. If you're nervous or you feel confused, please don't do it. You may regret this later on. If this 'Tristan' is a real man, he will understand and wait until you are ready. If he's upset, then it's obvious that he's not really for a real relationship and not worth it anyway (there are soooo many other guys out there willing to love you without pressuring you for sex). Don't ever let someone else pressure you into something that you really don't want to do.
Just take some time to think about it.
The way you wrote your question indicated that you seem really nervous and confused. I'd wait until you get to know this guy better. Like I said before, if he's mature enough and you're ready, he'll wait for you.....but if you're both ready, be SAFE!
