I defer to the response from Twisted Plaything. Good answer. You should expect to see the dead roundworms for the next day or so after deworming. A sign of worms in a pup is an over swollen belly. That isn't fat it's bloating caused by the worms. Usually the belly is swollen and firm after eating and pup is eating more than others. Pups normally are dewormed at about 5-6 weeks along with first puppy shot. Pups get 3 sets of shots and deworm. I hope you have taken the pups to a vet and not using over the counter products, especially the shots that can be bought. That is risky at best. Yes, deworming meds can be obtained at store but those do not take care of all the worms pups can have. It's hooks and whips that are not visible and do a lot of damage. By the time the dog is pooping blood it is critical.
Worms also lower bodies resistance to disease. You have 3 pups that I hope have seen a vet as they must be well over 5-6 wks old from what you indicate. Parvo and other diseases are out there big time. And if the mother dog was not kept vetted then she could have passed problems on to the pups!
I am hoping that this pup is ok. But keep a close eye as a pup can get sick real fast. Push fluids. If any worse and still not eating or drinking tomorrow then get to a vet. Do not try to play vet yourself if you are a responsible pet owner.

I would take a sample of the puppy's poop to the vet and have them check it out for other parasites. Roundworms are very hard to get rid of because they burrow into other parts of the body and the immune system attacks them but doesn't kill them by forming a sort of capsule around the body of the worm. The worms end up staying in the capsule alive and waiting until the puppy goes through a stressful period that causes the immune system to weaken. At that time the worms are released and end up continuing their cycle. Roundworm dewormer doesn't kill the roundworm! It just sedates the roundworm so it releases it's grip on the puppy's intestine. You need to coninue deworming the puppy every few weeks, but it's also possible he/she has different kinds of parasites. Check the stool and around the puppy's bottom for small rice like particles. If you find them.. that's tapeworm. If the pup does have tapeworm.. make sure you don't have a flea infestation.
Also, make sure you pick up any poop from the infected puppy immediately. roundworm eggs are microscopic and can survive outside for long periods of time. the roundworm larvae can actually penetrate the puppy's skin! so you really need to be on top of this.
* one more thing. It's normal that you're finding worms in the puppy's stool because you've just given him a dewormer that causes the roundworm to release itself from the intestine. Roundworms look sort of like spaghetti, but you can see their insides. I wouldn't worry too much about the puppy's appetite because the roundworm can cause this. If it doesn't get better in 48 hours seek vet assistance and make sure to keep the puppy hydrated.

The white long things are worms. Keep giving him the pedialyte and you may give him some boiled white with chicken broth in the morning if he is hungry. If he's not getting better by tomorrow afternoon you may want to see a vet. And obviously see one if he gets worse. You can try to give him some plain yogurt tonight if you have it on hand or have easy access to a store. Get Mountain High as that's the best brand. Make sure it's plain.

The only advice anyone here can give you is to find a way to the vet. Blood in stool is a really bad sign and you need vet assistance! Good Luck

Sounds like he also has tapeworm by the way you describe the things in his poop. Regular worming medicine won't cure it, you have to go to the vet to get the proper medication. They get it from eating fleas with tape worm eggs, so if you don't get rid of the fleas they will keep reinffecting themselves.

long white things sound like worms. he might just be a little sick or stomach upset from the wormer. and not feel like eating -- like when you get sick you probably don't feel like eating.
don't worry too much -- i would call the vet and see if they think it might be an emergency because they are more used to dealing with symtoms from the wormer. they will probably say just give him a couple days and see if things improve.

Sounds like he is sick, he may have had a bad reaction to the worming medication. I would definately take him to the vet as soon as you can. It doesn't take long for a puppy to go downhill.

The wormer gave him a tummy ache, most likely. the long skinny things are roundworms. they are born with them..so, worm him again in 3 weeks..however ALL of them need it, as they get it from mom before birth and while nursing. give mom the wormer too..If one pup has worms, they all do..
Here is a great site to show you how roundworms cycle> http://www.wbvc.bc.ca/internal.htm

it sounds like he is depressed, this (from personal experence) tends to happen from a sudden change in the enviornment or attitude of the place. I would try to look for anything that has changed recently, however the things in his stoole you might what to get looked at.....
