I was dining out with friends, 4 couples in all, in a restaurant which had a series of semi private rooms.
I fell asleep and my friends decided to tiptoe out and leave me to it.
Another group who we did not know, asked was happening and without prompting took my friends places,
They then woke me, and thanked me for buying them a wonderful meal, presenting me with the bill.
I was severely embarrassed.

Once on a bus. Which isnt that embarrassing, but I know i snore bad and it was winter and I had a head cold. I knew I had been asleep and when i woke up I got up for my stop and eveybody was looking at me!!! I must have made a hell of a racket!!! Not good!

i used to work night shifts, and one year i finished working my last night shift for that week at about 8am on new year's eve morning.... i didn't bother going to sleep when i got home as I'd arranged to meet friends, so by the time it got to the evening i was pretty tired. i went to a local pub with some friends, and i got sat down near an open coal fire. the heat from the fire, the alcohol and sleep deprivation all kind of combined, and i fell asleep in the middle of this very noisy crowed pub for about an hour ! i must have looked a total Muppet ! i woke up at about 11:30pm, so at least i woke up in time for the new year !

I'm known for falling asleep in meetings at work. My husband once fell asleep next to the speaker in a nightclub.

Our courthouse allows jury pool members to relax outside (They have a loudspeaker) I fell asleep on the grass, and was awakened by my own snoring. Then, I did it again! Talk about embarrassing!

In church, I mean it's shorter than most movies for goodness sake. I felt my head nodding up & down like I was agreeing to something some invisible individual was stating!

This wasnt me but a friend, she fell esleep in a back alley by someones car in some oil. She was drunk and it was winter. She came back the next day and told me where she passed out and I didnt believe her until I saw the huge oil stains on the back of her coat.

In the middle of a Sociology tutorial. There was only 10 of us in the room, so it was pretty noticable. I just muttered i was feeling ill & got up & left.

On the highway - doing about 70 mph!
I woke up to the sound of a loud horn - I was going right down the centerline and a semi full of railroad ties was bouncing down the ditch.
