I find it peculiar that someone who has a desire to live according to God's will as you do, would find a strip club fun. That's why I really believe that it was not the strip club itself that was fun for you. Perhaps it was just hanging out with friends or something that you found fun.

But I really don't know for sure. I just know that I would hate to be anywhere near a strip club. That said, I don't want to judge you. We all have different ways we see things. But I do know that the Bible is against such things. Proverbs speak against it.
But God is forgiving, and He also understands our particular weaknesses. So He won't forsake you just because you found it fun there. Pray to Him, and let Him give you the answer. It is clear that you do wish to follow Him, and if you keep that desire, you will find Him.

...I have a hard time understanding why you even asked this question. Are you for real, or just trying to stir people up and waste their time? Is your question true or did you make all this up?
...Of course God is against strip clubs where premarital sex, promiscuity, and unbridled lust abound and are encouraged.
...1 John 2:15-17 Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the eyes, and the lust of the flesh, and boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.
...I urge you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. Acts 16:31
...Whosoever will, may come.

God is for morality. He brought Jesus into the world to cleanse the world of immorality. RMEMBER Soddom and gamorrah in the Bible? God would feel uncomfortable about strip clubs. HE created marriage as an enjoyable way of expressing sexual behavior.

i lately heard an rather respected minister discuss something similar. this idea that God has some rigid moral code. if you're Christian, then God is all about love. Is there a commandment that announces: "Thou shall purely love those who artwork in places your congregation evaluate ideal."? that is unlucky that a lot preaching lately is depending upon the former testomony, and by no potential about the gospel of Jesus. This looks the source of all the worries about what's ideal and incorrect. This emphasis on the former testomony looks an attempt to impose the morality of the preachers at something else individuals. depending upon attendance at church homes the position this version of God is espoused, people contained in the USA also look to favor a vengeful version of God, who strikes worry into them, over the forgiving, loving, accepting God, Jesus informed us about. there is not something incorrect with being a waitress, neither is there something incorrect with being a dancer. as long as no human being is being compelled coerced to do something adverse to their will or more effective judgment, Your chum isn't occupied with something evil. there are diverse jobs the position people ought to do issues they don't extremely favor to do to make money. There are jobs the position people automatically do issues that damage others without hesitation. operating in a gentleman's club isn't one among them. i might want to be extra worried if she worked on Wall highway. purely bear in mind: God loves you. God loves your chum too. in case you make an apology, without reservation, that is going to likely accept without condition.

god is against all sexual immorality. your body is a private thing. God sais not to lust after worldly pleasures and to not covet or commit adultry. a stripper violates one of these and causes others to violate all of them. God wants us to have fun, but not at other peoples expense. if you still need more insight, talk to a spiritual leader. and pray about it too.

Your heart. God wants your heart to be joyful. Don't let other people rule your inner-life like that. We are with the Lord and He knows us... He wants us to be free and happy to live each moment free as it comes. Don't dwell upon the past and future too much... take comfort in knowing that He loves you so much...

Kind of. It's not a "sin" per se, but are Christians supposed to be found in places like that?
I hope this doesn't sound judgemental, but when I told one of my best friends (whom I used to constantly smoke pot with) that I had become a Christian, it was difficult for me to tell him that I probably wouldn't be smoking anymore.
I know that HE wouldn't judge me, because he knows me, and he knows what I'm about. But what about everyone else?
I don't worry about Christians judging me. Surprisingly few of them do. But NON-Christians judge me constantly.
They're always watching us. And if we do ANYTHING that could be construed as sinful (swearing, smoking pot, et cetera), we're "hypocrites".
So, it's up to you really, but if I were you, I'd stay away from strip clubs.

It is my conviction that looking on anyone lust after them other than one's spouse is a sin. And trying to cause another to stumble by stripping or being provocative is also a sin.
