"My dog, Spot, lives for five years."
Please me the sence that has just crossed your mind when you saw that sentence which,if possible,makes sence.

the sentence doesn't make sense...It has to be: My dog, Spot, lives for five years and then........-----or My dog, Spot, lived for 5 years..---the problem with the sentence is with it's tense...you can't live for 5 years in the current tense.

The owner of the dog can see into the future. The dog isnt dead yet, otherwise the sentence would be "lived for five years". But the owner says the dog will live for five years.

What crossed my mind? That there was a mistake in the sentence!
I ASSUME that the mistake was using the word 'lives'. I assume that either you meant to say "My dog, Spot, lived for five years [then died]." or "My dog, Spot, has lived for five years [and is still alive]." (In other words, "My dog, Spot, is five years old!")
What crossed my mind was to wonder which was the correct version ...!!

It sounds like a declaration from Spot's owner that after five years, poor old Spot is to be put down.

My sense is it is spoken by a non-native English speaker, who incorrectly chose the wrong verb form, and meant to say: "My dog, Spot, lived for five years," meaning his dog died after 5 years.

It's a statement, not a question, so it's hard to see anything more in it. Maybe the person uses English as a second language.
And it's sense, not sence.

Someone isa telling a story. They are expressing some disbelief about how long spot lived for. Compare:
yesterday i was sitting in the park and this guy comes up beside me and whispers in my ear 'Haribol'...
... sometimes we use present simple in recounts.
