I have a friend that I'm going to school with that I want to have a relationship with. How do I go from her thinking that we are doing some thing as friends, is really more of a date.
thanks, ahavre

This is tough. I think something along the lines of talking to her alone, without other friends there and face to face not on the phone. Be honest say to her. We get along so well as friends what do you think of seeing if we could have something more. OR what about... Were such good friends, could you ever see us having more? Or just straight to the point. My feelings for you have grown into more than just friends. Or Could you ever see us as being more than friends? Could you ever see me as a boyfriend?
It's tough because you don't want to lose the friendship, but you will never know if her feelings for you are something more unless you speak up.
One of my closest friends in junior high was a guy and we tried to date, it didn't work out. It was like kissing a relative... But he still had more than friendship feelings for me. We worked through it and are friends to this day (we are both now in our 30's). We are both married to other people with families of our own, but our friendship will last a lifetime. I've seen other friends end badly when it didn't work out and that is sad. But so is spending the rest of your life never knowing if it would have worked out.
My husband and I were close friends first and because of that we have an excellent marriage. We gave it a shot and both found the feeling to be much deeper than friendship. We are very happy together.
You never know unless you try. Good luck!

The best thing to do is tell her how you feel. sounds obvioius, but nothing will happen if she doesnt know you how you feel about her. The worst she can say is no...but she will be flattered :-). It takes a lot of strength to tell someone you like them though. Good Luck!

We ll you have to keep the communication up like ask her how s everything your talk about a subject after you talk to her for a while ask her for her number and then ask her can we go out as friends tell her how you feel about her tell her i wish i could like you you look very attractive. but first get to know everything about her and you tell her everything about you.

it has to be vocal. asked her out of the blue while you guys are chatting 'so, what are we?' , im not sure how she'll respond but if she responded ' we're friends whaddya mean' dont be depressed she may genuinely asking you what the hell does that mean, just pour your hearts out then, who knows things might go well. it took me 4 months to finally say yes so you got to have patience ..all the best
