I know its always hard to stay on a diet. Everyone knows that. But sometimes I just think "OK, I am going to stay on a diet" and it works for about 2 days. I need strategies on how to stay on a diet, if it's even possible.

If only we all had Oprah's personal trainer and chef! I think the best way is to set goals and lay out a plan. Make your goals realistic and if possible, get someone to join you who will make you accountable to your diet AND fitness routine. If you are investing yourself physically in the fitness end of it, you will be more likely to follow the diet aspect.

Little things help. Put a picture of how you looked right before you started dieting and a picture of how you used to look when skinny or of something inspirational.

Realize that everyday is a new day and a new battle. Post a sign up on your bathroom mirror with the words "everyday is a new battle". It really helps.

If you need some motivation, go to www.bodybuilding.com and go into their supersite. They have articles on everything fitness and beautiful fitness models and bodybuilders (for the males). It's such an inspiration and will make you want to keep working harder.

I have several techniques. One is I choose about 12 favorite foods and I eat only those from day to day. You stop thinking about food as much because you know, at noon, it's time for some peanut butter crackers. Another technique is to eat a little bit every 2 or 3 hours. You always have something to look forward to and you don't get as hungry. I like to visualize my stomach to be about the size of a clenched fist so never eat more than that at 1 sitting. It's so much better for your digestion, too.

set goals. small goals like... i will avoid starchy food today and work to complete them . make a list of goals weekly. dont say i will never eat fast food again. that is unrealistic. reward yourself on fridays by going out to dinner or having your favorite dessert. but remember only at the end of the week can you reward yourself for your efforts. use stickers to remind you that you lost 5, 10 , or 20 lbs. and put this list no other than the refrigerator, so every time you attempt to eat snacks you are reminded. buy canned fruit that is canned in its own juice and put in the freezer. open the can and the fruit is best when cold. buy healthy snacks not sugary snacks out of sight out of mind and good luck

I have been using the hoodia gordonii for about 2 1/2 weeks and I am simply amazed. It took about a week for me to start noticing a real difference,
