All sexual sins are wrong according to God, not just homosexuality....and they are ALL behavioural choices. If an adulterer can decide to not commit adultery or fornication, then a homosexual can also choose their beheviour as well.

Um, er, Spanky, heh heh, i think you broke the rules.HAHAHA. No, really, good job. Seriously, you can't inquire what a sin is without consulting God's Word. You should have asked is it against nature or something if you dind't want the Bible quoted. You know, I used to make a huge issue about whether or not people can be born homosexual till I had a revelation. It doesn't matter! We are all born sinners. So I guess the possibility exists they can be born that way even though I doubt it. Yes we're twisted. Our DNA is messed up and we have flawed upbringing as well; all because of sin. The Bible states all creation GROANS because of sin and awaits redemption. The question is not whether one is born gay, but can God fix it and the answer is YES. Christ died so that we can be forgiven and delivered from all the evil effects of sin. The question of whether its right or wrong is not so hard when your eyes are open and your lust (or desire to be politically correct) is not clouding your vision. Homosexuals everywhere, true Christians do not hate you. We are with you. We were all either fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, homosexuals, thieves, coveters, and liars and Christ has given us new life and joy and peace and freedom from all these things. We love you. Come to Christ.

Okay, assuming that your statement about genetics is true (which I am not sure that I believe), it isn't actually the attraction of a guy to a guy that is labelled an abomination in the Bible, it is the act of homosexuality.
As for the question about gay guys being born with sin, we are all born with sin and are destined to go to Hell. That is why Jesus died on the cross, so that we could have the chance to got to Heaven instead. We all deserve to go to Hell but we are given the opportunity to go to Heaven. All we have to do is admit that we have sinned and repent.

Its not what I consider a sin that matters, its what God considers sin that is important. Just my view. To do this without quoting the Bible is tough, because thats where it says its wrong.
If you dont believe the Bible, then to you its not a sin and Chrsitians views shouldn't concern you in the least.....I admit I am a little confused.
I dont believe in the "born gay" thing. I believe we are born in sin, and we will sin. How that sin manifests is up to us.
Look, I am not saying I am better or anyone else is better than a gay person. Sin is sin. I still sin, is mine less of a sin?? No.
The REAL issue to me is not do we sin, its are we forgiven?? In Chrsitian thinking if you know Jesus and confess sins, you are forgiven. But if you deny that your sin is sin, you may be in trouble. If someone thinks its OK to be gay by Chrsitianity, it is not. If they repent and slip, then repent and slip, its ok. But if you just say " the bible is wrong and I am a gay christian" there is a bigger problem.
If they dont believe in the Bible or jesus, who cares if its a sin? They need to know God first.
Hope I made some sense......

...One guy I knew in high school chose (yes, chose) that lifestyle - he was picked on and abused by others who were more athletic that he was.
...I think young kids who are abused by child molesters often end up repeating the same sins.
...Homosexuality is a learned lifestyle choice. It is a deviant and physically destructive lifestyle, which will probably cause early death. The human body was just not designed for such activity. The Centers for Disease Control (hardly a right-wing organization) reports that the life span of the average homosexual male is 41. I do not rejoice in this.
...God does not approve of the homosexual lifestyle at all. In 1 Corinthians 6 we read,
....9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
...10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
....11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
...You can also read Romans 1:18-31 - it basically says that after men suppress the truth, they go on a downward spiral, where they worship the created things, and finally men and women become intimate in perverted ways, going after each other. It also mentions many other sins at the end of the chapter that men and women are guilty of - and not just those who follow the homosexual lifestyle.
...While there is life, there is hope for all who will trust in Christ. In 1 Corinthians 6 it says, "And such were some of you..." There is hope for homosexuals and others - sin can be forgiven, and one can receive forgivenes and new life in Christ.
...I urge all readers to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved. (Acts 16:31)
...Whosoever will, may come.

Not quoting the Bible is like not quoting or going to the answer book. God made Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Steve. Things were created male and female. How else can there be offspring? It takes a male and a female to reproduce. Two males can't do it, neither can two females. Life would cease if there was no male to female mating.

I don't I am a gay Christian and had to defend myself in the church I was a member of in a church meeting. In the end I was forced to resign as the church would not accept me as a gay person.
In the Bible there is no direct reference to homosexuality there are only about 7 references that seem say it is wrong. If you look closely at these references you find that they do not condemn a gay person, but most Christians take them out of context and say that they do.

I'm not a Christian but you should check your assumption that "gay guys are born gay." I've met plenty of people who contradict that assumption. There are many reasons why people turn to homosexuality. Ask around and you'll find many (not all) had early sexual experiences that caused a deep fascination with or attachment to the same sex. The reasons people spread the "born gay" explanation are political and have little to do with reality.

The influential from their past lives constitutes to certain factor of being gay/les/bi.
Being gay created a lot of social and ethical problems in his/her life.
In my opinions, I don't think gay/les are destined to hell. But if most of the time, their mental states during their days of living on earth are to look for sexual lust , then they might fall to an undesirable existence due to their consistent mindset.
It is best to stay faithful and do something that contribute worthwhile to humanity.

Sorry - God is not a mean kid with a magnifying glass on an ant hill.
It's as simple as this - God man woman for man, God calls homsexuality an abomination - therefore God does Not create people as homosexual. So, gays are not born gay but choose to by gay. And so to continue on that path, will lead to an unfavorable judgement.

Christianity derives from the Pagans 2000 years ago. Investigate it if you need to. Read up on Constantine....
Christian Dogma is full of "you know what"....
Christianity and Homosexuality have been around for thousands of years.
The "dogma" as we put it - only puts FEAR into us to which the church makes the masses belive that being gay is sinful.
How many priests do think have sexually molested girls and boys?
Why Do priests of any faith get away with that behaviour?
