is it wrong to give a gift without a return address?

i think i just gave this person a hard time to look for me to say thank you.

It's okay. Otherwise we'd never be able to give anonymous gifts. That would be a shame.

It is not wrong but don't expect a thank you card or anything. If you do it is like giving someone a gift with no tag, don't expect even to be acknowledged.

It is OK. Send a gift without string attached , not even a thank you.
