Statistically it is fact that arranged marriages last longer. I would think that this is because the people realized that they are going to have to work at it. Sometimes people get the illusion that they will fall in love and everything will be fine. Then when things aren't find they think it is not love. Love requires effort.

Arrange marriage is the best one in the present conditions!
But it should be a understandable arrangement before fixing both the ends. It means meet your opposite person, understand before coming to a conclusion from both the ends, then have a cooling time for both...
think your nature with the other one,
think others nature with your own
consider the adjustments
discuss
Finalize your arrangement
Have a peace full and happiest life!

from how i see it. there are so many factors that make arranged marriages last longer such as cultures, fear of dissappointing family, being austrasized as a woman that divorced her husband, and fear of being a "woman with baggage". these contribute to the marriage lasting longer regardless of how miserable it is.
Now humans will always be humans. whether arranged or not thesame problems persist. at the end of the day its about the two people understanding each other. Love is overated and people seem to think its something that just happens. Being able to love is a skill that has to be developed by everyone in order to make a longer lasting relationship. Thank you.

For me i think the love marriage will last longer compared to arranged marriage because of the LOVE that binds them.

Arranged marriage tends to be longer lasting because there is more pressure to make it work out from your family and your community.
This doesn't mean that both the man and woman are happy in the marriage, of course.

In an arranged marriage you more than likely aren't going to be truly in LOVE and happily married. Where's the LOVE in an "arranged" marriage????

arranged marriages usually last because they culture there from usually wont let them divorce. but love marriages can last also but sometimes the love dies and they need to split and move on.

love. i couldnt have sex with someone i just met and part of the excitement is the chase. obviously you know what you have to do and your going to do it, so it kinda takes away from the fun if it is arranged
