I had a medical check-up. I have no symptoms of being sick and yet my doctor has put me on a course of anit-biotics because I have lots of blood and white cells in the urine sample. She says I have an infection. How can I when I feel fine?

It could be UTI or some other kind of infection. Lots of people get infections without even knowing it. My mother recently had some general tests ran and was suffering from a rare viral infection without even feeling symptoms from it. After you complete your anti-biotics the doctor will probably want to check again to be sure that it is gone. Sometimes certain infections don't respond to certain anti-biotics but you really don't need to worry about this because it happens a lot. Just follow the doctor's instructions and you'll be well.

Most defanitely a UTI. (Urinary Tract Infection)
I had a UTI once, actually the first time I ever had one. Well, I was feeling abdominal pains, so I went to a walk-in and they thought it was appedincitis. I was alarmed. So I was sent to the hospital where I got bloodwork and a urine sample done. The doctor came in and said I had a lot of white cells in my urine. That was due to the UTI. Nothing to worry about, just take your medicine and you'll be fine.

minor urinary tract infection may not cause any pain, it is quite common to be found in ladies.
