God used men as instruments to write His "letter" to humanity. They ranged from kings to common fishermen, but the 66 books of the Bible were all given by inspiration of God. Proof that this Book is supernatural can been seen with a quick study of its prophecies.

God has preserved His Word. In the spring of 1947, the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. These manuscripts were copies of large portions of the Old Testament, a thousand years older than any other existing copies. Study of the scrolls has revealed that the Bible hasn’t changed in content down through the ages as many skeptics had surmised.

Anyone can now obtain access to computer programs that give the original Hebrew and Greek words, and the only "changes" have been made for clarity. For example, the old English translation of 2 Corinthians 12:8 is "For this thing I besought the Lord thrice ...," while a contemporary translation is "Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times..."

"For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword"
Hebrews 4:12

Well, thats like asking is God God,or the same as asking "am I really breathing right now?",
If you don't believe the Bible is true you're doubting you're very own existence.
Oh and you said for us to prove it right?
Well me breathing right now as a believer in Jesus, and in God is enofe for me to know that God is real and it says in the BIBLE that in the begining was the word(the bible)and the word was with God,and the word was God.
So you tell me.
And I proved from the Bible from witch you doubt that is true if you can prove to me why it isn't true please tell me how Gods word ain't true, cause if it ain't,you you're self is saying that God ain't real!
Have fun trying to explain that to us!

Yes....the Holy Spirit guides me in life and every time I dont know why I do something later I read and its in the Bible.

Its true bacause Jesus said it is perfect and Holy.... I believe Jesus because of the miracle He has done in my life. I was an athiest and was in BIG trouble...like looking at years in jail. I needed a miracle.

So I almost sarcastically called on this miracle guy, "Jesus" and to my amazement he answered. I have no record and was released immediately. My lawyer could not explain it.I am freed from sever porn and drug addiction.

How do you think a guy caught with a half ounce of coke, 88 growing marijuana plants, almost a pound a weed, kiddie porn and fraud credit cards just walks out?? Cuz I gave my heart to Jesus. Now you prove to me it wasnt something else and I'll stop loving Jesus and the Bible.

Thanks for listening!

It is irrelevant if it is true or not in its entirety. One thing which can be verified by the individual pertains to the information contained within. There are basic concepts if lived by or applied in ones' life will bring positive rewards.
Cheating, lying, stealing, murder, etc; is not a path to happiness. All Religious (east and west) doctrines are distorted to some degree.
Truth IS Truth!

well as a muslim I feel that Jesus' original message was true, but he didnt have anyone write down his sayings during his walk/time here on earth to proof read them to make sure of no mistakes or contradictions.. Sadly it was left up to someone 100 years later to gather thousands of writings and works and "VOTE" to which ones were more authentic and compile them into one book.. This leaves the fact there there probably were more books that were more authentic, but didnt fit or match those voting their desires at that particular time.. Also as we all know, when stories are repeated throughout time by word of mouth, they either grow or lesson in their wording and importance and change.. havent you ever played the childrens game where you sit in a circle and whisper a phrase and by the time it gets back to you after 20 kids, its totally different.. well this is the same... Therefore as a muslim,, we believe Jesus original message would have been the truth if he wrote it down then,, and Mohammed was sent by God to clear up the matter and the Quran is that truth, thats why so many think its a copy of the bible, it isnt a copy, its the original truth finally in its pristine form..

I'm converting to skepticism for the modern cynic and if you make a religion out of I still won't join No it's tainted with more contrived lies then goodness could ever excuse in good conscience .....if Christians can't justify their sins how do they justify the religion that they come from they can't it's only a camouflage to hide their true motives...stop the killing
peaceout enjoy the life

yes.... the old testament and new testament are too parallel to be untrue. the prophecies about "The Christ's ancestors and how he is supposed to be born through a virgin" are written in the old testament which is about 5 centuries earlier than the new testament. the languages are also different so its wrong to say that the jews or someone set it up that way.

Yes, it is true. No doubt. The men who altered and purposely mistranslated parts of it (others were accidentally mistranslated) really were told to do so by God, for they were filled with the holy spirit--just as God told Bush to invade Iraq. That's a true story, too. And did you know that I was abducted by aliens last night? I have an anal probe to prove it.
