Can GWB sleep at night not thinking about how many innocent Iraqi and Afgani people were killed?

Was it really worth the sacirifice in killing them all yet alone our own in uniform, for the sake of throwing Saddam out of power?

Have you already forgotten Saddam used chemical weapons on his own poeple. How would you feel if it was you or a family member he did this to? Saddam was the lowest form of human being known to man. He was a totalitarian ruler. I you spoke out against him or his regime you were executed. The Iragi poeple never had free speech or free elections. Yes they had elections but the winner was known before the election was held. Keep in mind when you are at war with somebody innocent poeple do die. It is unfortunate but it does happen. What do you want us to do sprinkle after shave lotion on them? The Iraqi poeple believe it is worth it. They will eventually get control of their gov't but not without our help. Remember the terrorist regimes that hide in these countries. Have an agenda to kill all infidels. In case you haven't figured it out. We are the infidels, that means you & me. Along with anybody else that is not muslim. I guess we could have waited until he dropped chem weapon or nuke in your back yard. Then poeple like you would say. Why didn't we do something about him when we could? Our military is doing a glamourless thankless job that has to be done. I hope that it is soon that we can turn over control of Iraq to their poeple & let them finish sorting things out. Keep in mind it took years for our educated poeple in our country to agree and sign a document that is now known as the Declaration of Independence.

Innocent? Innocent. Thats a difficult term. Now by innocent to you mean the civilian was a casulty due to assualt? Well thats called collateral damage. Unfortuntaly due to the nature of warfare civlian casualties cannot be avoided. Even more so when you're enemy does not follow conventional warfare. Hide within cities, school houses, ect... Plus the fall of Hussein was neccessary, as far as I see. Whatever was the reasoning for invading Iraq (terrorism, WMD, oil) I feel better that the people of Iraq are on a road to a better life. Granted that road is EXTREMELY rocky and full of pot holes. But I know if I had lived in a country where I had NO RIGHTS, I would hope that the big boy on the block will come rescue me.

I love when people ask stupid questions based on topics that the author really does't have a clue about. Saddam killed many innocent people in the 80's. He ordered the gasing of the Kurds. It is against everything the U.S. military stands for to kill innocent people. Unfortunatly it happends sometimes. Sometimes its an accident and sometimes a few military members commit an unforgivable act. While I wish that stuff never happened, it does. But we do not go out and target thousands of innocent people. Most of the innocent people dying in Iraq and Afgan are getting killed by the cowardly acts of terrorists. You do not see American troops suicide bombing churches and schoolsor rolling a car bomb into a crowded market place. I personally know many people who have served over in both places and have met the people there. They know that what they have done is the right thing to do, to help protect the people from those worse than the "Evil GWB". I voted for him in both elections and I am glad I did. I may not agree with everything he has done but I am not going to be one of the liberal hippies who thinks he should be brought up on war crime charges. I see alot of whiny people on here who complain about the government and the military but wouldnt even think about serving, you probably dont even vote. I have even more to say but its personal and I know I'm going to get flamed by those who dont like what I have to say so I wont.

and before u say that Saddam was the real reason yea so what? the man was evil as Hitler and stalin i bet u won't deny that will u? but if u think we should have left him alone then tell that to the family's that are crying over the mass graves and will never get to Barry there loved ones at a proper funeral or the millions he has maimed all for the sake so he could stay in power

I looked at his eyes very carefully on television. I can say that the man has some trouble sleeping. Probably due to Iraq and the political back lash he may face in the near future.
