What is the deal with guys loving long hair on girls? I don't understand this. Any help would be good. Thanks

I have real long hair almost down to my waist, but it's a lot of upkeep and it's not for everybody. I've thought about having it cut before but I've never trimmed more than a few inches, I just can't seem to go through with it? Anyway my bf seems to love it and likes to smell it and snuggle all around in it, I guess there's something sensual about it? I don't totally get it either, but whatever lights up their, whatever!

It goes back to the thing where "opposites attract". I, as a dude, have short hair and love it when girls have long hair. If girls have short hair it just reminds me of dudes. I like women who have long hair and always will. It's feminine and looks pretty. The short hair chicks better be really pretty or they can't pull it off.

Well as you can see I have long hair. I have always had long hair except in grade school for about 2 years. When the Dorthy Hamel was popular. Oh boy! did I age myself with that one. I feel that it is an extension of us. How we color, curl, or toss it around, it is use as a flirting devise. Just like the way the boy's or men show off their mussels. They take the time to make themselves buff to draw attention to them. As we do by with the time we invest in doing our hair to make ourselves attractive to them. It also say that you care about the way you look and that you take the time to do your best in looking good. It, the chemistry in the end does start off by what you see, then you get to know what is on the inside. Because as I'm sure you have found out in life looks can be deceiving. Yes guy's like to play with it and use it as a rein!! But you control it in the end.

Well I'm a girl and I know that long hair on a girl generally signifies: youth, good health, and virginity. You'll notice that as women get older they start to cut their hair shorter since long hair is usually for the younger ones and as you get older hair quality becomes bad. Guys get turned on by long hair, why do you think in Islam women have to cover their hair? Also, long hair is NOT a sign of virginity but it since it signifies youth, it kinda signifies virginity.

I think long hair is supposed to be a feminine trait, so long hair equals more feminine and some guys go for that. My boyfriend actually prefers me with short hair, but I can't afford to cut it all the time.

It is just customary and accepted throughout time that women have long hair. It dates back way before womens lib and womans rights, its a sort of stereotype..

I happen to like men with long hair..most of it is just personal preference...

I know some guys who love women with short, styled hair..as long as it oes not look like a traditional "mens" haircut..

Hi, Back in the late late years, a woman's long hair was her pride and joy. You didn't see women with short hair, if you did people would look at you and say, nasty things about you.Men have been told that women look and feel better about themselves if they have long hair.Most men perfer long hair over short.Alot of men like to run their hands threw your hair and some men really like combing her long hair.I myself use to have short hair and since i ran into my love of life, i have growth long hair and i have to admit, i do look alot better in long hair.
