To Joduka - I have been watching the UFC since UFC 1 and I have NEVER like Matt Hughes. I don't doubt his ability but find him to be pompous and ignorant towards other fighters. GSP has always been a favourite of mine because of his skill and the fact that he is just a nice, likeable guy. I am well versed in all of the fighters and am by no means a bandwagon jumper as you have assumed.

I bet last time when he beat BJ Penn you didn't. I'm not trying to insult you but I am tired of seeing people who don't really know anything about the fighters follow the trend because everyone is now saying hes a di ck for picking on GSP etc... When those same people loved him 6 months ago and couldn't care less about GSP. Read back to questions from before UFC 63 when Hughes was suppose to fight GSP everyone says Hughes is the best and GSP sucks...
No you are not alone I respect his power and ability to fight back from bad situations but He is not a highly skilled fighter and I think being champ for so long has caused him to be less humble than he used to be. GSP will fix that though tonight.

I respect his fighting skills, but I find him a bit boring. I like George St Pierre's fighting style it's more entertaining. I think the stand up fighters like Chuck Liddell, Anderson Silva and GSP are more fun to watch than the ground and pound guys. I hate Tito Ortiz the most, at least Hughes can do submissions.
