I am one of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses. We are more familiarly known as Jehovah's witnesses, but we are Christian as we believe in what Jesus said. Jehovah is God's name. The Tetragrammaton (There is no font to write the actual 4 lettered name) appears in the original bible text more than 7000 times but has been removed from most translations as it is supersticiously thought to be too holy to utter. Jesus is God's first and only begotten angelic son, created untold ages before man.

We believe that man's home, the Earth, is where we were meant to be all along. The free gift we recieve if we want it is everlasting life on Earth, not in heaven - although some do go there to rule with Jesus as kings and priests. There are many other things we believe - it's from the Bible, ask one of us for more information.

Globally, there are about 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witnesses (about 16 million associate themselves with Jehovah's Witnesses). Their publications "The Watchtower" and "Awake!" enjoy circulations of about 27 million and 32 million per issue.

I am a former J. W.. Not because I was disfellowshiped. They taught me how to dissengage from other institutions. So after a few years when I saw how fake they were, I divorced them! They were pretty stunned. You see, they are used to disfellowshipping people, not people giving them the boot.

Answer this...does your religion really condone not going to the doctor when you are ill, or is that just a nasty rumor? Because I cannot imagine letting your children become ill and do nothing about it, especially since God has given us technology and knowlegable people. This really is a genuine question, and I only ask because I am truely curious.

Is there such a thing as a Jehovah's "Christian" Witness? I thought they were just Jehovah's Witnesses.

Me. Assuming that you are talking about God(Jehovah) I am one of these. I am not a member of the people who follow the watchtower, or whatever you call it.
