A cold does not last for 6 weeks. A cold is a virus, which mutates. It will last for 2 weeks maximum, 7 days typical.

Your doc is a quack.

Six weeks is kinda long to have a "cold." Besides, if it is a cold, antibiotics won't help because it is a virus. Bacterial infections are treated with antobiotics. Now, you could have a secondary infection that the Zith. was Rxd for, but I would really recommend a second opinion. It is not good for your body to take antibiotics long term. They destroy your immune system.

you need to get the doctor to explain to you in depth about what is wrong with you. Colds do not last 6 weeks, and antibiotics are not given for colds. Better yet, go to another doctor for an opinion.

one thing is very common if you have taken the kind of anti biotic before the body can become immune to it meaning it wont help but by putting you on a different antibiotic it should help. But if he is giving you antibiotics then its not a cold I doubt he told you is was a cold. you need to go back to him explain what is happening and ask what you have.

Your body sounds like it's now in a fragile state.

It needs to be restored to a sound, germ free state.

You can try what I do, and you may see gradual improvement.

Start each day on the right foot.

That means a wholesome breakfast of a mixture of several cereals, with some fruit added, preferably banana.

Take your orange juice, with a multi-vitamin. Occasional calcium pill too.

Use listerine often. Gargle with it. Prefer the amber, bitter one.

Use anti-bacterial sprays in your environment, also spray your environment with a mixture of listerine and witch hazel.

Excersize a lot. Best type is walking several miles per day.

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Avoid red meat. Use at least one clove of raw garlic per day in your diet. Avoid sugar and soda.

Use honey instead.

Keep yourself on this plan, and try never getting off of it.

Get back to me in a month.

Sounds like your body is a haven for germs now.
