If a woman hits a man for no reason, legally he has the right to hit her back. But a gentleman would walk away and have nothing more to do with such a low class female.

Let the peace start with you.

an eye for an eye is great depending on a situation. If you do the crime you do the time is what I believed. I am not sure about hitting someone back to be equal. If a woman hits a man should she have a reason? I have a friend who's wife abuses him all the time. He took it for so many yrs and got tired of it walked out of the marriage. Every situation is dfferent. It's hard to make this statement and judge a person from he/her answer.

Men and women will never be equal as long as people have opinions! As far as hitting goes what idiot still resorts to it? Lets all grow up and use words instead.

I don't know about hitting but I say if a crime is committed by a man or woman the consequences should be the same.

A teacher having sex with an underage student, regardless of teacher's sex, should be equally punished. Nowadays women can get away with murder while a man would serve a life sentence for jaywalking.

Hi doll,
I have hands big as a Polar Bear's paw, I'm certainly glad that my heart is bigger...
Some women can be obnoxious and provocative, I tend to stray away from them, as that could turn-out to be a very bad scene.
Furthermore, standing before a judge on account that we both were stupid does not make sense to me.
I am careful of what I ask for in a woman besides, eventually I'd lose all respect for her.
I wouldn't like to see my girl looking like (Joe Frazier after Muhammad Ali finished kicking his rump...)

If we practice an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, we'd all end up blind and toothless. Women should not hit men and vice versa.

"An eye for an eye" is an easy philosophy to have and it might seem to be satisfying. But I suggest that it is the road to ruin. I hit you. You hit me. I pick up a baseball bat. You pick up a knife. One of us is dead. The other one is in jail. Our kids are living in a foster home. Someday they grow up to be fighters.

Don't go there!!!

I am somewhat for it.

I am for literal punishment.

Being put in a cell for 20 someodd years sucks, but is not gonna leave a lifelong scar like rape.

So equal punishment, as brutal (but different) as the original.

An "eye for an eye" is Old Testament, to "turn the other cheek" is New Testament. Which do you think would be more conductive to a better world and enlightenment?
