one is in front of the other, A drunk driver comes along and rear-ends the last car (now the middle car) pushing it forward and causing it to rear-end the front car. Who is at-fault for rear-ending the front car? (HINT: NOT the Drunk!) and WHY?!

The drunk is at fault for hitting the second car but the second car is at fault for hitting the first car because according to the law he is following to close, You should always maintain two car lengths between your car and the car in front of you in order to avoid an accident

You are wrong. The drunk is completely at fault.
If he hit the middle car doing 35 mph it is going to push it into anybody in front of him no matter if they are 3 car lengths back of the front car.

Bad information.

Not enough information. Were the cars moving? were they stopped? What was car three's impact speed? What was the momentum transferred to the second car? If car three was not going fast enough to produce a strong enough impact pulse then car two is at fault for not maintaining a proper following distance. But if car three was traveling at a high enough rate to produce an uncontrolled impulse on car two, car three is at fault, and this should be counted as one incident.

Car number 2 "Because you didn't have the car safely stopped, aka handbrake, and/or slipped off the clutch pedal upon impact, thus helping the impact on the first car"

Though we all know the real reason the drunk isn't at fault is because insurance is such bollocks!

the middle car, this is why you leave a space,as in following to close, but you can have it listed as an unavoidable accident.due to you not being able to avoid the actions of the impaired driver
