I dont know how to get back out there. I was in a deep depression for almost 2 years, ever since my 1st love left me. I have no male friends at all. I dont know where to start? I dont know if i still have feeling for him, and thats one of the reasons why i want to get back out there.

Believe me, love, life is not over! I was more than twice your age after my divorce, and it took me 3 years to get back to the dating scene! If you don't like bars, try online dating services. They are not as bad as they seem--and good luck!

Many people wait until after there late 20s age to date before they really fall
in love because thats when the brain is completely developed. Don't be scared of men, just go out there and start chatting away like there is no tomorrow.
But if you're in school, concentrate on that, or work.

It is easy for girls to get a date, simply show an interest, go up to the guy and talk. Let me tell you something, guys are interested in any girl that is reasonably attractive, it is true. Who cares about your first love? That loser left you. It is what it is. Get back out there and show that you want a man to take you. All you have to be is reasonably attractive. Hey, I would go out with Ugly Betty, that shows you how little looks mean. It's all about the love mang.

I'm 48 and haven't had a date in 11yrs so you haven't gone throught nothing yet.
these kids think their world is over by the age of 20. Sorry to say you have a long life ahead of you and why are you in such of a hurry to get to your first divorce. Give it time. You have plenty left.

You are still young so do not worry too much but I agree you need to get out and meet people. Find places where you may find nice guys who are not finding trouble for themselves. I suggest you go to the spa or the library. You may want to try to go to college. I bet that would be a good idea too as you can get a career and a SMART boyfriend too. Good luck!.

Don't even worry. You will have so many dates in your 20s it will be sick.
Even unattractive people I know date like crazy in their 20s. It is completely different from the teens - the problem is "I have no one" it is "I'm not that into those people I have."
You should be looking forward to your life.

there are alot of singles groups out there, they do alot of get togethers like, Sat. morning breakfast, dances,hiking,bowling, and also have great speakers that come in a discuss topics in dating,and std's,communication problems and the list goes on and on, I don't know where your from, if you can't find one close to you, make one for yourself, it would be fun! It only takes two to start.

Go to clubs at night, or try to get your friends to set you up on blind dates. however you want, get yourself out there. without being too available. remember, you dont need a guy to be happy though!

even i am interested in you,(tipical guy).
you will always have feelings for him,
but that is over,
time to move on.
you will have feeling for someone else.
and it will be better.
think of what you like to do
and find others that like the same.
