I think two weeks is way too soon to have sex with someone. They are practically a stranger. I know it's all in what is felt between each other, but when the relationship ended six months later, he said if it wasnt me it would have been someone else. Is that all he wanted from me?

He was simply not the person for you. Leave it at that and know that you will meet someone else. Next time let the relationship grow before the intimacy does.

I doubt that was all he wanted from you. What is said now is not what was felt 6 months ago (those comments are based on the intervening 6 months).
In any relationship you must set a tone and establish expectations immediately.
I have found that if you move quickly, the entire relationship tends to move more quickly through its various phases and it sounds like this one took 6 months to run its course.
Sorry to hear that it is over, an end is always miserable.

He sounds like a player to me, who took you along for a 6 month ride to get what he wanted and then he dipped.
And yes, 2 weeks is way too soon to be involved with a person on that level.
