I have a terrible ear ache all day. I wore ear plugs last night and now my right ear is very sore but not the left one. I don't believe it is an ear infection but who knows. Any suggestions would be apprecaited to get rid of this thing without having to see a doctor for now.

Sock full of beans or rice, heat for 2 minutes in microwave or pan on stove over low heat and put it on your ear. the heat should give you some comfort. I have suffered with ear infections all my life this works. I have to use ear drops and had to have a tube put in. Heat works my friend, hot as you can stand it but not too hot to burn.

Hydrogen Peroxide in your ear will sound like it is fizzing and it will be as well. It helps clean out any infection if there is any. Gets rid of built up wax too. But you really should have your ear looked out if the pain continues it could be an inner ear infection.

I used to suffer from ear infections! The best thing to do is to go to the Dr. But heat will help! My Mom would heat salt or rice up in a damp wash cloth and I'd hols that next to my ear a hot water bottle will do as well as a heating pad. But please get to a Dr. for antibiotics! You could end up deaf in that ear like me!

Q-tip dipped in urine and use it in your ear wait 10 to 12 minutes and repeat. That usually works.

This is going to sound wierd but I swear it works. Dip a cotton ball in warm olive oil, vegtable oil, canola oil, whatever cooking oil you use and stick it in you ear. It's soothing, trust me.
