Think about what you would want someone to do if that were your child. Nothing is more important than caring for a child.

I would stop and help the child. A couple of days ago I had my 2 1/2 year old run away from me in the parking lot. I know how frantic I was when he ran off I would never wish that on another mother. Besides, there are way too many sick people out there that could hurt a lost child.

My children are 5, 3, and 18months and if they were lost I would want all the help I could get from anyone and if it were me there could be nothing in this world that could stop me from helping that baby find their mommy or daddy and anybody that could just ignore that couldnt be someone that could sleep at night because I would hope that baby did'nt fall into the hands of a terrible person that would bring harm to them.

I would call the police right away.Someone can take the child do all kinds of staff and kill the poor thing.I am surprised you are asking this. It's a matter of life and death.

I would stop to help. I don't know enough facts to really answer though. If I was on my way to pick up my own child because she was ill or hurt, I would probably keep going. If it was a job interview and I was unemployed, I would probably keep going. If I was going to get my hair done, I would stop. It just depends.

I would not even think about it, pull over , call the police, call for the parent (yelling) and wait for police to arrive

Help the kid, explain why you were late and I'm sure anyone would applaud you for your tardiness.
