you still have to use "audio out rca plugs", s-video is for better picture only.

The sound connection is through the red/white RCA phono jacks.

Connect the audio R & L
cables between the TV and
your receiver -and voila!!!

s-video is just video....you need the rca outputs (red/white) as well.
