"Distended" is just another term for bloated or enlarged. It is probably just gas in your intestines. This is common after most surgeries. Ask your doc for some medication to help you expel some of it and you should feel much better soon. Also, have you had bowel movements since your surgery? If not, be sure to let your doc know so he can check for a fecal impaction or give you a laxative. Your physician will find the problem. Relax!

The tummy is tight, and hard as a rock. Due to bowel obstructions.
