It really isn't your business. He is an adult and can do what he wants. Maybe he wasn't even serious. Lots of people put stuff on their profiles as jokes. And if he was what can you do? If you must you could discuss it with him, but did he give you him myspace info or did you go snooping for him? Because if you went snooping he's going to resent that. He is 22, he is old enough to drink, to get married, to go to war, to live his own life. As hard as it must be you can't live it for him. Nor can you decide what is 'normal' for him. Many people have alternative lifesyles and that doesn't mean there is something wrong with them. The time to have done something has passed, he's raised and grown. If he asks you for advice that is one thing, but if not live and let live. Don't hover or you will drive him away.

Hun, LET YOUR SON GO! He's 22 years old, and he has a MySpace profile, stating that he wants to meet some bloodloving punk girl. So what? Isn't HIS life?
Step out, mami, step out.

He's already grown and it's his life. He has the right to take any road he wants. It's hard as a parent, sister, or friend to see people you love taking the long route to happiness but you must learn to love him where he is because if you don't he'll see you as against him. If you want to keep your son in your life. Stay out of his personal affairs.

Wow. I can see why you are concerned. Sometimes young people like to express themselves and date those who do as well. She likes to taste blood? yuck. maybe you could sit down with him and ask some questions. Just don't do it in a judgmental way. maybe you can try to see where he is coming from. Wish you well.

ya know, it seems that opposite attracts. the nice girls like the mean guys, the shy guys like the outgoing chicks. But its ur son's choice, if u interfere u could compromise ur relationship, but of course show him that u care for him but in a easy relax way to talk to him...

hey mom, I think you shouldn't be reading your son's myspace profile. Actually, it's your fault, for not teaching your son that myspace profiles are free for anyone to access. I feel sorry for your son.

Your son is a grown a*s man, if you try to stop him from meeting or being with this young woman it'll just make him want to do it even more. Leave him alone and let him make his own choices, it's his life not yours.
