a few things...
* Wanting to sleep as much as you can without caring about daily life ie. work, school, groceries, kids. Not even answering the phone.
* Not talking with anyone about how you feel because you dont think it can change or you dont care anymore.
* Lack of positive emotions or being in deep sadness.
* Feeling like you are drowning with no way of ever feeling better, despair.
* Physical pain and overall feeling of physically having something wrong or being sick.
* feeling out of control in your life.
* feeling like it would really not matter if you were around or not. Not necessarily being suicidal, though.
* Maybe eating way too much or not wanting to eat anything and not having any energy.
*not finding anything promising, like enjoying a ball game or a sunset. Just going through the motions in "autopilot".

EVERYONE has depression at a point!!! we are humans and we experiance emotions!!!
the only difference is how ppl deal with it!! if you are weak-minded it can be very serious disease....trust me it is a disease!! you cant really state specific symptoms because there are diff. levels of depression...the worst may be not wanting to live anymore....havent you seen those commercials where it states you dont feel hungry...you dont wanna wake up...and it affects the ppl around you too not just the person!!! there is medication for it so it doesnt hurt your body physically!! and theraphy is also nedded to help you emotionally/mentaly!!
