they claim jesus said heaven and earth will pass but my words will live on but after his words have faded away the controversy of false gods vs the truth will persist.

I think it's a pretty good summary. The book is a flawed attempt to explain why bad things happen to good people. The answer really isn't very satisfactory. It's supposed to sound like, "My ways are not your ways," but it ends up, "You wouldn't understand if I told you." But at least it acknowledged the problem, unlike most of the other "wisdom" books.
The movie is irreverent but not blasphemous, anymore than the original (Satan walking about in the courts of the Lord?). It takes liberties with the plot but any adaptation does, and the basic message survives. It's fine. I'm looking forward to seening what the Goon Bible Project does with 2nd Samuel.

I watched the video it is definately Biblically Incorrect because of the cursing and the references that make God look like an idiot etc. Also God did not make fun of Job and did not give him more than he had before because He felt like a jerk etc. But Blaspheme is attrubiting the works of God to the devil, so this did not qualify.

As a Christian, I don't mind seeing how the rest of the world looks at our religion through its own lenses. Yes, it is both biblically incorrect and blasphemous, but it doesn't hold any "shock value" for me. I'm kind of desensitized to it.

Biblically incorrect... that's too politically correct... I prefer blasphemy... it's much more fun!
