Mark of the beast: What is it supposed to be, anyway, and how will you know if you've accepted it or not?

I would like to know exactly what it is.

I know it's 666, what I want to know, is in modern times, how do you know if you've accepted it or not. It doesn't exactly specify what it is in the Bible...open to interpretation.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by "how do you know if you've accepted it". If you mean that if you have the mark, how do you know that you have accepted satan, then you would have to look inside yourself to know that. If you mean how do you know if it truly is the mark, I can't honestly say that I know. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Well the mark of the beast according to the bible is 666 however some people believe that the mark will be the new computer chip that the government is trying to push on to people. You know the one, they say it is the size of a grain of rice and can be placed under the skin and scanned with a bar code reader. Already they are putting these inside of pets. Some people have volunteered to have them implanted but most people rejected them a few years ago when a company in florida tried to get the public to use them. I read in the news that the same company had gone to Mexico and convinced the Mexican government to permit there use in the public and had in fact placed them in thousands of people already. Not only can these computer chips tell your entire medical history, they can hold your financial records, your criminal history and lots of other things. They can also be tracked by satelite so the government will know where you are at all times. Kind of spooky isnt it?

I believe that this word is getting ready for the "mark of the beast" by accepting numbers instead of our names. After Jesus comes to take the Christians home, there will be the tribulation. This is when you will receive the mark, probably so that you can buy food or anything else. The mark will be on your head or your hand. If you refuse to accept the mark you will die a martyr's death. Probably because you will not be able to live without food etc. If you do not accept the mark and die, it will be because you have believed in Jesus now. Then you will be able to enter the kingdom of heaven.
The last book in the bible explains it but it is very hard to understand. If you are really interested in this, go to a pastor or someone that is knowledgeable about the bible and talk to him/her.
Whats important is that you accept Christ before the end.

the mark of the Beast is in direct contrast to the seal of God.Hint: the seal of God is in the 4th. commandment. since the issue is over worship and God's day is the Sabbath(saturday), the mark is a man made day(sunday). the catholic church(beast) claim as their "Mark" the transference of the Biblical Sabbath(saturday) to sunday. It is the Mark....the number 666. This mark will be stamped upon the foreheads of those who are willing to denounce Christ. The scriptures call it the "number of a man". Some of us believe it is the Pope, because he already has that number etched on his triple-crown that he wears. Anyway, this mark will be given to those who want to be able to buy and sell during the time when the 1st resurrection has already occurred (I believe I'm correct on that point). If you don't have this mark, you will not be able to buy food, sell things etc. presumably you will die.....and you will be beheaded. If you take this mark, you will be allowed to live.

The mark of the beast will be in numerical form....666...either on your forehead, back of your neck or maybe even in the future it will be the assigned number of you...you will know it cause you will have food, water and freedom of the times...however if someone refuses the 666 mark, he will be tortured, left to die, starve and so many horrible tributes of death.

Well, one way to find out would be to work from the other side -
what is the mark of God?

Exodus 31
13 "But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.

17 "It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever; (W)for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, but on the seventh day He ceased from labor, and was refreshed."

God had established His Sabbath as the sign, or "mark", between Him and His people. Evil copies what God does. So if God had His Sabbath as His sign, then evil will have something simular as it's "Mark".

So, to find what is the Mark of the Beast, look to what people have as a sign of their faith that is not God's Sabbath, and you will have your answer.

simple, you won't be able to buy or sell without it. Now days we think of it as a computer chip that will be inserted into the rist or the head, all you will need to do is wave your hand over the scanner, or walk through a scanner to buy/sell.

If you here after the rapture, don't fall for it, better off accepting Christ as your savior and get your head chopped off then to buy/sell your way into hell for ever and ever.
