are they alloyed on america west/us airways???

Sure, laptops are allowed on any airliners in the U.S. They may not be turned on during takeoff or landing, when the flight attendant directs people to turn off all electronic equipment. Otherwise, they may be used in flight.

I'm not sure i think so but i would call the airlines to make sure that way theres not mix up.
