yes i do. if there was no God or afterlife (which is a moot point really)....i would see no purpose or reason to anything. i would have a very difficult time getting out of bed or being enthusiastic about anything. what would it be for??? we're all here for a split second...then gone forever. none of us would remeber that we were here when we are dead...so why would anything matter???
we are all gona end up in the grave (living healthy only delays it).....and once we end up there we aint ever comin back. so anything we did or experienced on earth....is now eternally irrelevant. even if we impacted someone who impacted someone ....it still will eventually wind up irrelevant...because we all come to an end....no meaning...no point.....just "breathing through it randomness".

fortunately i don't think this way AT ALL.

and to think about all the poor, starving, ill, crippled, suffering people on this planet...how can they really enjoy life to the fullest now?? sure everyone can try and do their best and put a smile on when its tough.......but we as humans need real joy...reeal happiness...real hope. it wont last the other way

It sure doesn't hurt, but I enjoy life simply because I am living it :-) So my answer would be no I don't need promise's of an afterlife to enjoy life.

I can enjoy life, as a matter of fact I think I'd make sure to enjoy it more if there were no afterlife. Of course, thinking there was no afterlife would increase my fear of death. That fear would most likely limit my ability to take risks...which would most likely lead to a less interesting life.

No. I love every second of my life, as boring as it may seem to those around me. I do what I love, I'm in love with a good man, who loves me back, I'm centered and totally at peace (after a very long time of being unhappy - weight issues, not religious issues) with who I am, who I've become, and who I'll grow to be with time. It can't get any better than this. And the idea that things will get better for you once you're cold and dead is wishful thinking at best.

No, because the "two" are really the same...everything is everything. Physicality and the "afterlife" both are life; just the focus changes.

That promise cost us dearly, those whom believe, very much. Yes I do enjoy life now, but I'm waiting to enjoy the afterlife...no more pain or sorrow no more suffering..no hunger, war, loneliness...so NO I do not need it but knowing that that is my destiny makes living a whole lot easier.

NO!

Your Souls journey has already been chosen, long before this world existed, what ever past life you endured it has bought you to this life.

The Realm of Good & Evil

What you do here, will secure your journey into the next, where ever the soul must journey to it will surely get there.

Yes, for me I do. I can't imagine living a life and then just rotting in the ground. I have to believe that I'll see my family & friends in Heaven again or I'd be miserable
