In the end, every judgement is based on our own selfishness and ego-self.
It is wrong to kill. What that means is that it is only wrong if "you" kill "me". It may not be so if "you" kill someone else beside "me".
It is right to help. What that means is that it is only right if "you" help "me". It may not be so if "you" help someone else beside "me".
That's why you can see why some people propound one thing and they practice something else. They propound one thing for others to follow, but they make their own selfish rules for themselves to benefit from. That's a lie not only to others but also to themselves. But then, we are all like that, whether the person reading this like it or not.

I do not have a clue what you are talking about but the word struck an idea i have been working on that you might like to hear. Think about how 100 years ago sex was so evil, the cultures religion labeled it as so. This had consequences to th natural evolution of our cultures consciousness. It has slowly moved to the liberal where sex is pretty well accepted as with divorce and premarital sex. It did this only because millions in our culture had to endure the criticism and judgments of our elders. Inter-racial marriage and now gay marriage is our new little curse. I would hate to be one of these that have to debunk the society and its judgment, but it is a necessary thing for us to evolve to a unified non-judgmental species. Our generational curse is to overthrow the elders judgment. I also think that this means the people who are most vehemently opposed to these things are the ones that created the need for them to exist.

Well, some people read the bible with a stern set mind with refusal to change it if need be. When one is in this selfish mindset they can make scripture say what they want it to say. To avoid this one must read the bible willing to let it shape them rather than the other way around.

You're right....people can't change something that God ordained. The Word of God was preserved for us to go by in order to save ourselves from going to Hell. And to be on our p's and q's of Satan's tricks...etc. Only Holy men of God and saints full of the Holy Ghost can interpret the true meaning of the scriptures. And only that's through the Spirit of God. They are the ones who are revealed the real meaning of the Word of God. They can not make one scripture contradict another.

Because the bible says nothing about interpretation. So people jump on the bandwagon and that's why there are so many religions based on the bible. All claiming to be the right one for you.

if god came down right now and said somethin to everyone, we would all hear it differently. this is y i feel the bible is unreliable because it was written by many men over the time of about 50 years. this means it was interpreted by the thought of man, and not only that, but it was affected by changes over those 50 years.

so they can change the word to match their lifestyle, thus, not being convicted.
Why are there "homosexual Christian churches?" God condemns homosexuality, but yet they promote the "love" factor. Changing the interpretation allows them to live their lifestyle.

The Bible should not be taken literaly at all. It should only be used as a guide of how to live. No scratch that. I don't need a book to tell me that I should be good to other poeple. pwned

you have to be more specific---
Jesus taught many things in the New Testament. When He abides in you, He will tell you the Truth and nothing but the Truth... *smile*
