Do you think i could raise enough money too help lonely holocaust survivers?

I was watching a show on how there are holocaust survivors that have no one and i was thinking it would be nice to have like a really big house and have all the survivors that have no one live there so they can be together. do u think it would be hard to raise money for this and do u think it is a goood idea?

I think it is very good idea. I hope you can make it happen, These people have been through so much and now have so little. In the richest country in the world I would hope that it can and will happen. Just an idea for you. Maybe you could go to Jewish Synagogues and talk to rabbis about your ideas. Then your idea may take flight and possibly once you have established support from the Jewish community you could see if local media (TV,newspapers, radio etc...) could contribute to the vocalization and information to the public in order to get additional financial support for this most worthy cause. I wish you luck and much success in your endeavor. My ♥ goes out to you and to all of them !

Why not be a friend to just one. There would be no cost involved and you'd be giving the priceless gift of friendship to someone who has been through hell who doesn't deserve to be lonely.

My reason for suggesting you do it this way is that the survivors are not getting any younger and it would take you so long to raise the money, they might all be gone before you have the house built and ready to receive occupants.

Good luck to you and the person you'll choose to befriend.

How do you know they want to all live together? What if they like where they live?

Maybe a cheaper thing to do is to write them and become penpals with them. Maybe they could be penpals with one another, phone calls. Then see if they want to live together. I think you must make some baby steps. But I think it's so great that the documentary moved you and that you care about them.

Best of luck!
