the egg.
some creature had sex with another creature and it mutated and that mutated creature had sex with another mutated creature and those mutated creature laid an egg.
that egg hatched another mutated creature called a chicken.

this question is asked pretty much every day on here!! let me lay it straight (no pun intended) the chicken HAD to have come first because chicken eggs don't just hatch on their own, they have to have someone to care for it. so it HAD to be a chicken first.

chicken god created the chicken and the chicken layed the egg. i mean birds instantly came they didnt hatch then they layed eggs so it would be the chicken

There are so many ways I can answer this. Try this one.
If you take a Cocker Spaniel and a Poodle and mate them, you first get the embryo (egg) not the Cockapoo (chicken). Therefore, to answer your question, the egg came first.

God made the chicken (and the rooster) chicken and rooster made the egg, witch made more little chikens a.k.a chicks!

well if you're christian then its chicken.
because God created al lthe animals one day so he
obviously had to create the chicken first, then the
chicken reprosduces and makes an egg.
