Okay, then. Adopt.
It's wonderful. There are so many kids hanging around in limbo in the system. People throw out the "adoption not abortion" thing all the time, without stopping to think that not every child is going to get a chance to live in a warm, loving home. If you're willing to provide one, then kudos!

My husband and I adopted our son, The best move we have ever made. I cannot have children, so adoption is the only way I could be a mother. I have had my son since the day he was born. I knew the mother, so we did an open adoption. I got to cut the emblical cord. It was wonderful. He is now 2 and 1/2 years old. I am looking forward to adopting again!

Oh, but if you adopt, you ARE a mother. At least I would hope. You don't have to give birth to a child in order to be a mother! But, yes, please do adopt! It's a wonderful thing.
